About these terms
These Terms of Use govern PMB (also known as PMB Documents) and this website, provided by Mohammad Jabbari, an independent developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Contact: apps.jabbari@gmail.com.
By using PMB, you agree to these terms to the extent a valid agreement is formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the app and website. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement, or use the app with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where allowed. These terms supplement Apple’s applicable platform terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, which governs the app license unless a valid custom license replaces it. Nothing here overrides mandatory law or Apple’s applicable terms.
License and permitted use
Subject to these terms and Apple’s usage rules, you may use PMB on Apple devices you own or control for lawful personal or business purposes. We retain rights in the app, its design, code and branding. You retain rights in your own files; using PMB does not transfer ownership of them to us.
You must not use PMB to infringe copyright or other rights, distribute unlawful or harmful content, gain unauthorized access, introduce malware, evade purchase verification, abuse ad rewards, or interfere with the app or its services. Restrictions on reverse engineering, modification or redistribution apply only to the extent permitted by law; statutory rights and open-source license rights remain unaffected.
Your content and third-party services
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to access, download, copy, store, scan, play, share or delete content. A browser or download function does not grant permission from a rights holder or website. Do not bypass access controls or digital rights management.
PMB is a tool, not a supplier or endorsement of the files, websites, advertisements or other content you choose to access. Third-party websites, downloads, search services, advertisers, Apple and storage providers operate independently. Their availability, accuracy, legality, safety and terms are outside our control. We do not guarantee that a website permits downloading, that a file is safe, or that every format will preview or play. Mandatory legal responsibilities remain unaffected.
Your files, deletion and backups
Keep independent backups of important files before importing, organizing, cleaning, editing, updating or removing content. PMB is not a backup service. Check selections and destinations before confirming an operation. Storage estimates, duplicate suggestions, previews and scan adjustments can be imperfect; review the actual content before relying on them.
Files can be lost or become inaccessible because of deletion, permanent cleanup, app uninstall, device loss or reset, insufficient storage, corruption, operating-system behavior, third-party failures or software defects. Recently Deleted and recovery features are not a guarantee of recovery. Photo deletions may affect a synced photo library or other devices according to your provider settings. A completed download-history cleanup does not itself delete the downloaded file.
These responsibilities do not exclude any duty or remedy that law requires us to provide. We cannot remotely recover content that was stored only on your device.
Safe Box and Wi-Fi Transfer
Safe Box is an app-private folder gated by supported device authentication. It uses standard iOS file protection and does not add separate PMB encryption to new files or filenames. It is not a guarantee against all access, device compromise or data loss. Originals remain outside Safe Box after copying or importing, unless you separately remove them. Exports create additional copies. Safe Box files are excluded from backups.
Wi-Fi Transfer exposes the selected shared folder through a local HTTP server while enabled. HTTP does not encrypt traffic in transit. Use only a network and computer you trust, keep access details private, and stop the server after use. You are responsible for the recipients and shared-folder access you authorize. PMB stops the server when the app goes into the background.
Payment, renewal, cancellation and restoration
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The price, currency, billing interval, included features and any trial or promotion are shown before confirmation. Applicable taxes and Apple’s payment terms apply. We do not handle your payment card directly.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple account. To avoid the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If an eligible trial is offered, follow its displayed cancellation deadline to avoid a charge. Deleting PMB does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions, or follow Apple’s cancellation instructions.
A lifetime option, where offered, is a one-time purchase providing the included Premium entitlement for the lifetime of this app as maintained and made available. It is not a promise that the app or every third-party dependency will operate forever, or that every future separate product is included. Mandatory consumer rights and the terms of your purchase continue to apply.
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple account used for the eligible purchase. Verified legacy PMB lifetime purchases qualify for Premium in the supported implementation. We cannot guarantee restoration for an unverified, refunded or unrelated purchase. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s purchase support, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable law. Nothing here removes a statutory cancellation, refund or defective-service remedy.
Availability, updates and compatibility
PMB depends on supported iOS versions, device capabilities, permissions and third-party services. Features can differ by app version, region, device or purchase availability. Network transfers may fail or require restarting. We may release updates, make reasonable changes, suspend affected services for security or maintenance, or discontinue support, subject to applicable notice obligations and consumer remedies.
We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every file or website, a particular download speed, a specific amount of recovered storage, error-free scans, or indefinite availability. The app is not designed for safety-critical, emergency or other uses where failure could cause injury or serious harm.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PMB and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties not expressly given, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, where those disclaimers are legally permitted. We do not warrant that the app, downloaded material or third-party services will be uninterrupted, entirely secure, error-free or free of harmful components.
This disclaimer does not exclude warranties, guarantees, reasonable care obligations or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Descriptions of a feature do not remove legally required quality or conformity standards.
Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or loss of profits, business opportunities, goodwill or data, arising out of use of or inability to use PMB, your chosen content, or independent third-party services, even if such loss was foreseeable.
To the extent a monetary cap is legally permitted, our aggregate liability arising from PMB and these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for PMB in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) AED 100.
These exclusions and the cap do not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They do not remove mandatory consumer remedies or data-protection rights. If a limitation is not lawful in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the extent the law allows.
Responsibility for unlawful use
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your intentional unlawful use of PMB, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these terms. This does not apply to losses caused by our own breach or conduct for which we are legally responsible. We will provide reasonable notice of such a claim and an appropriate opportunity to participate in its defense; no settlement may impose an admission or non-monetary obligation on you without your consent.
Privacy and ending use
The Privacy Policy explains on-device processing, permissions, network requests, purchases, advertising and privacy choices. Do not share another person’s information without a lawful basis.
You can stop using PMB at any time. Export content you want to keep before uninstalling, especially Safe Box files. Cancel subscriptions separately through Apple. We may take proportionate action against unlawful use or material breaches, subject to mandatory rights. Provisions concerning ownership, accrued payments, lawful liability limits and dispute handling survive where appropriate.
Applicable law and disputes
Subject to mandatory protections that apply to you, these terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. The competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have jurisdiction unless mandatory law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of non-excludable protections under the law of your habitual residence or any legally required access to your local courts.
Please contact apps.jabbari@gmail.com first if something is wrong so we can try to resolve it. This is an invitation, not a mandatory step that restricts legal rights or deadlines.
Changes and other provisions
We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the app or law. The updated date appears above. Material changes will be notified as required by law and will not retroactively remove accrued rights. Where consent is required for a change, we will seek it. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the service, with any applicable statutory remedies preserved.
If a clause is invalid, the remaining clauses continue to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver. These terms do not make Apple responsible for PMB support or create rights that conflict with Apple’s applicable license terms.
