Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the website at mjabbari.com and to the mobile applications and games published by its developer (“we”, “us”, “our”), collectively called the “Services.” Where an app or game has its own privacy policy, that policy applies to it and prevails over this one; this policy applies to the rest. This policy does not apply to Apple, Google or any other third-party service, website or advertisement, each of which is governed by its own privacy policy. By using the Services you acknowledge this policy and our Terms of Use.
Summary
The Services do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, postal address, contacts or payment-card details to use the apps, and we do not operate a general user-account database. We do not sell personal information for money.
Some apps use independent third-party services such as Apple (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, Game Center), Google (AdMob, the User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Google Play) and the content or data services described in each app’s own policy. Those providers may collect and process information under their own policies, which we do not control.
Information we receive directly
We receive information directly only when you choose to send it, for example when you:
- email us for support, feedback or a privacy request;
- send diagnostic details or screenshots voluntarily;
- use a feature that clearly asks you to submit information.
Support communications may include your email address, the content you send, device or app information you choose to provide, and our replies. We use them only to respond and to improve the Services. Please do not send passwords or sensitive information. Email is handled by our mail provider under its own terms.
Information stored on your device
App settings, progress, saved items, imported files, playlists and similar content are normally stored on your device and, where an app offers it, in your own iCloud or Google account. We do not have access to that information and cannot recover it. You can remove it by deleting the app or using the app’s own controls.
Information processed by third parties
Depending on the app, device, region, consent choices and configuration, third-party advertising, analytics and crash-reporting services may process:
- IP address and an approximate location derived from it;
- device, app, advertising and app-instance identifiers;
- device type, operating system, language, app version and network information;
- app launches, screens viewed, session activity, ad requests, impressions and clicks;
- crash logs, performance information and other diagnostics;
- fraud-prevention, security and ad-delivery signals.
This information is generally pseudonymous and does not tell us your name or email address. It is used in aggregate to operate, maintain, secure and improve the Services, show and measure ads, and prevent fraud, and is processed by the provider under its own terms. Advertising and tracking choices
- Consent: where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google’s consent form is shown before personalized ads are requested. Where it applies to you, an app’s privacy choices can be reopened from its settings.
- iOS: the advertising identifier (IDFA) is available only if you allow tracking in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Where an app offers a “Remove ads” or premium purchase, it turns off ads as described in that app.
Declining tracking or personalization does not prevent you from using the apps; you may still see non-personalized ads. Some laws treat targeted-advertising disclosures as a “sale” or “sharing” even when no money is exchanged; you can limit that processing with the controls above. Advertisements, advertisers and any websites or offers they link to are third-party content for which, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility.
Purchases
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google Play. The apps receive only the transaction and entitlement information needed to deliver and restore purchases. We never receive your payment card details.
Device permissions
Certain apps may request access to media, music libraries, files, photos, camera, microphone, notifications, calendar, Bluetooth, local network or similar device features. Access is requested only for the feature you choose and is used to provide it. You can review or revoke permissions in your device settings at any time; refusing a permission may stop the related feature from working.
This website
This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which may automatically record technical information (such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and referrer) in server logs for delivery and security. Product information such as icons, ratings and release dates is loaded from Apple by our server, not by your browser. The website does not use advertising scripts, social media widgets or tracking cookies. Links to the App Store, Google Play and other sites take you to services with their own policies.
Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information is processed: to provide the Services and the features you request and to honor purchases (performance of a contract); to show ads that keep the apps free, to understand usage, fix crashes, keep the Services secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests); to comply with legal obligations; and, where required, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting prior processing.
Retention, transfers and security
Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep a reasonable record, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with law. Data on your device remains until you delete it or the app. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies. Information may be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a sale or transfer of a Service.
Information processed by third-party providers may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, which may have different data protection laws. Reasonable measures are used to protect information, but no device, network or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information.
Children
The Services are general-audience products and are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and it will be deleted.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the Services have no accounts and most data is held on your device or by third parties under random identifiers, we generally cannot identify you or link analytics or advertising data to you. Requests concerning data held by Apple or Google should be made to those providers using their own tools. Other requests can be sent to the contact address below; we may need to verify your request, and we may retain information where law permits or requires it.
Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible or liable for the privacy, security, content or data-handling practices of any third party, or for any loss, damage, unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse of information that is collected, stored or processed by your device, your network, your Apple or Google account, iCloud, Game Center, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, your mail or internet provider, any website you visit or any other third party, or that results from events beyond our reasonable control. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The updated version takes effect when published at mjabbari.com/privacy-policy, with the date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
